Herts Regional College at Broxbourne found themselves with unwanted visitors who had made camp in their overflow car park. Once the visitors had been removed by the police, the site required an intensive clean-up operation as it had been used as a temporary waste dump. Ribbex immediately provided a robust plan and competitive quote to the remove the unwanted waste in accordance with legislation. Within two working days, Ribbex had organised a fleet of grab lorries to remove the waste which was processed at a waste transfer station and all other items such as fridges and gas canisters removed and disposed of correctly. Herts College had their car park returned in a clean state within 3 working days after the removal of 33 loads of waste and approximately 100 tonnes waste removed.
John Corbett – Director of Estates at Herts Regional Colleges said – “Herts Regional College tendered out the requirement for the removal of the fly tipped materials at Broxbourne and only Ribbex responded very quickly with a robust plan to remove the material. Ribbex provided a thoroughly professional emergency collection service and kept HRC informed with photo evidence every day.“
